username/password; logon denied

Problem summary


    

  • After upgrading to IIDR 10.2.1 Interim Fix 4 for Oracle Redo,
the engine fails to connect to the database with the following
error:
CDC Oracle JDBC Drive ORA-01017 invalid username/password error

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This issue is fixed by applying IIDR 10.2.1 Interim Fix 6 for
Oracle Redo.
