• Description:
  A web service is a software system designed to support
  interactions
  between distinct applications over a network. These web services
  are governed by international standards. One such standard of
  implementation is Apache Axis.  IBM InfoSphere Master Data
  Management Collaboration Server  supports web
  services and is compliant with Axis 1.4 standard. Revised
  versions of this standard, name Axis 2.x, have emerged but we
  have not modified the product to accommodate the newer
  versions. As a result we are strictly Apache Axis 1.4 compliant
  and may not support systems using a different standard.
  Presently, this information is missing from the information
  center and should be clearly stated.
