Error description
Sequencer job receives status code 98 (job not compiled) from a child job executed which it is still running. The problem is caused by transient files created by the Parallel Transformer deployment which should not be part of the checksum result
Local fix
You can workaround the issue by applying patch from APAR JR40908 and set variables : DS_CHECK_NOTCOMPILED_RETRY ( =50 ) DS_CHECK_NOTCOMPILED_INFO ( =yes )
Problem summary
************************************************************* USERS AFFECTED: Users who use APT_COPY_TRANSFORM_OPERATOR in an MPP environment. ************************************************************* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Parallel Engine deployment of Transform Operators uses temporary files in the DataStage runtime folders when checking the checksum of the operator. This interferes with the DataStage binary checksums and the Parallel Engine files now have to be ignored. This exhibits as an intermittent Status=98 issue reported by Sequence jobs or when using dsjob. ************************************************************* RECOMMENDATION: Apply patch JR41742. *************************************************************
Problem conclusion
Apply patch JR41742.
Temporary fix
Do not use APT_COPY_TRANSFORM_OPERATOR.
