The document does NOT mention the mapping information for
DATS(Date), TIMS(Times) and NUMC( numeric) SAP data types.

DATS(Date), TIMS(Times) and NUMC( numeric) are converted to
VARCHAR  by the ABAP extract and the customer would like to
keep them as date, time and double.

The document should be updated.

Local fix

  • Right now, you may implement the desired mapping using a manual
conversion within a transformer stage for example.
