Error description

  • Increase the Precision to 7 digits to support datatype
DateTime2.  Current precision within DataStage Parallel jobs
will only go up to 6 digits.  There is also an enhancement from
DB2 that have the precision scale up to 12 digits.  This may
needs to be addressed.

*      customers who want to have full support of SQL Server's
*      datetime2 which include a precision of 7 for
*      microseconds.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Orchestrate, the engine behind DataStage,
*      currently only support timestamps with a maximum
*      precision of 6 (26,6).  SQL Server provide timestamps
*      with a precision of 7 (27,7).  The final digit is
*      currently truncated.
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:  There are no action available at this time.
*      This is currently undergoing development work for future
*      versions of IIS.
