Error description
You will recieve SQL3324 error when creating nickname on a remote sybase table with system defined type longsysname like below: db2 => create nickname a.a for s1."dbo"."sysobjects" DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned: SQL3324N Column "name" has a type of "longsysname" which is not recognized.
