Summary] A wrong 'create table" sql statement is generated with [generate] button when a table name is set using a variable of a parameter set. [Details] THis occurs in [Properties]tag of ODBC Connector stage. When settings in [Properties]tag are below, a wrong "create table" sql statement is generated. - Table name : set a variable in a parameter set - Table action : create or replace - Generate create statement when a job is launched : No When pushinng [generate] button for "Create Statement" in the right side of the window and click the same variable as the one in "Table name", unnecessary tags like below are added in "create table" sql statement. CREATE TABLE TableName><EnableQuotedIDs type='bool'><![CDATA[0 ( c1 INTEGER NOT NULL, c2 CHAR(4) NOT NULL )

The problem is described for ODBC , but appears for all connectors. **************************************************************** RECOMMENDATION: Apply patch "patch_JR34764v2_client_windows_8101.zip" available in the patch server. ****************************************************************
Problem conclusion
The above problem is seen because the replacement of parameters in the generated SQL statement is not correct Fix - This has now been fixed by not replcaing the parameters in the generated SQL statements and leaving them to be resolved at runtime.
