DataStage 8.1 Designer crashes immediately after start up if Multi Client Manager is used to switch from DataStage version 6.0 (requires that a job is opened in DS 6.0, before issue occurs).
Local fix
Delete following Windows Registry Entry using regedit.exe: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ascential Software\DSDesign
