Error description
Information Analyzer 8.0.1 Column Analysis performance issue if the index for the table containing the analysis results does not exist - a table scan for every new record will occur. This situation should not happen under normal circumstances because the first time the results table is created, the index should also be created. However, if the original column analysis runs out of disk space, for example, this causes the index not to be created and subsequent analyses to be very slow.
Local fix
Proposed solution is to modify the osh script that is generated by Information Analyzer to include an additional check to see if there is a valid index on the resuls table, and configure the update or insert logic accordingly. If the index exists, an update can be performed. In all other cases, the results table should be recreated and inserts performed.
