IZ77553: TAX CALCULATION NOT UPDATED ON CLOSED DUPLICATE PR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The UK has has a recent change of VAT rates where for a year th
  rate
  
  
  was lowered to 15% from 17.5% and is once more back at 17.5%
  Circumstances:
  
  A  PR that was input during the 15% period is subsequently was
  closed.
  
  Now duplicated PR and we found out that:
  
  The duplicate PR is an exact duplicate (other than PR number
  etc.) and
  has the tax value that was valid for the source PR. ( Old value
  NOT the
  new Tax value) added in the Org/tax option tax1.
  
  This is incorrect, and the new PR should have the tax value
  calculated
  such that it uses the current tax rates rather than merely
  
  copying the
  
  source PR.
  
  
  I have tested this against maximo 7.1.1.4 and 7.1.1.5 and
  7.1.1.6.
  
  after duplicate we fetch the new tax rate. or if code has
  changed, the new taxcode
