Error description
After re-cycling multiple rTEMS, situations fail to start because an agent has switched during the restart and the situation has been deleted from the situation description table of the rTEMS that the agent switched away from. When the agent switches back to that rTEMS, the situation cannot start. RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS: Not recreatable without special wait timers inserted into the product to force the exact sequence of events to occur.
Local fix
Start each rTEMS sequentially and allow to complete its start-up before proceeding with the next rTEMS.
Problem summary
After a remote management server is restarted and agents have connected back, situations fail to start for some agents.
Problem conclusion
If the timing is just right between the agent switch to secondary and the recycling management servers' heartbeat processing, the access list cache won't be cleared at the HUB management server for the restarting management server. The logic has been updated so that the data is properly cleared and handled. The fix for this APAR is included in the following maintenance vehicle: | fix pack | 6.2.1-TIV-ITM-FP0003
