IZ49499: MAXIMO 7.1.1.4 INTEGRATION FRAMEWORK MICUTIL.GETKEYARRAY ISSUE WHEN ALTERNATE KEY IS MODIFIED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Create an alternate index on Workorder table which is made up
  of some external fields added to the table.  Override the
  method "public String[] getKeyArray(String name) throws
  MXException,RemoteException" to use the alternate index only in
  certain conditions.  This is not working.
  
  Gives error:
  "unique index error".
  The problem is in 7114, the "getKeyArray" is derived from
  MICUtil.  Fixed in 7.1.1.5.

Problem conclusion

• When getting key array use overridable method in the
  MosProcessImpl rather then method in MicUtil
