Error description
Environment: ITM 6.2.1 Windows platform Problem: The pdcollect command does not get the logs. It creates a "logs" subdirectory, but the contents are empty. Recreation Steps: Note that the "-nologs" argument is NOT being used, a simple "pdcollect" command without arguments will have the problem in ITM 6.2.1. Approver: KD
Local fix
Change the following line in the %CANDLE_HOME%\bin\pdcollect.cmd file from this: dir /s /ad /b "%PROD_HOME%" | %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\find /i "logs" | "%FILTDIR%\pdcfilt" "%PROD_HOME%\" >logfile.lst to this: dir /s /ad /b "%PROD_HOME%" | %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\find /i "logs" | "%FILTDIR%\pdcfilt" "%PROD_HOME%\\" >logfile.lst
Problem summary
The pdcollect command does not get the logs. It creates a "logs" subdirectory, but the contents are empty.
Problem conclusion
The problem was related to syntax error on calling internal binary program. The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance packages: | fix pack | 6.2.1-TIV-ITM-FP0001
