Error description
If userid is a member of a gorup, the Workspace Administration mode option is greyed out.
Local fix
Work around is to remove all group memberships and apply permissions individually.
Problem summary
If a new TEP user is created with either the "new" or "create another from the default" userid, after logging on with that user, the user is unable to access the "workspace administration mode". Opening the user admin dialog reveals the permissions for workspace administration has one checkbox selected and the "workspace administration" checkbox disabled and not selected. This check box should be enabled and not selected when the permissions from the "administrator" group are inherited.
Problem conclusion
The code was modifed to remove an erroneously set flag that controlled toggling of the workspace admin mode. The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance packages: | interim fix | 6.2.0.2-TIV-ITM-IF0001
Temporary fix
Remove the user from the administrator group, check the workspace administration mode checkbox and add the user back to the administrator group.
