APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
Calling a stored procedure containing a semi-colon will return SQL0104 after applying DB2 v8 FixPak 12 or higher. DB2 v9 GA is also affected. This issue occurs only when connecting to DB2 for z/OS. CLI traces will show that the SQL statement is truncated. This issue can be reproduced regardless of whether the internal SYSIBM.SQLPROCEDURECOLS is called. SQLPrepareW( hStmt=1:1, pszSqlStr=" call TESTSP(?,?,? );", cbSqlStr=22 ) ---> Time elapsed - +1.656000E-003 seconds ( StmtOut="CALL TESTSP(?,?,?" )
Local fix
Change application by removing the semi-colon from the CALL command or add curly braces around the call command i.e. {CALL TESTSP(?,?,?);}
Problem summary
