Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Uses of LogMonX in SSM 4.0 **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: LogMonX includes text in matches that is not between the Begin and End delimiters. **************************************************************** RECOMMENDATION: Upgrade to Fix Pack 9 for SSM 4.0. ****************************************************************
Problem conclusion
Improved the logmonx matching behaviour, only matching and reporting the string between the begin and end delimiters (inclusively). Note: This means an end delimiter of "\r?\n$" will always produce matches containing the terminating CR/LF, whereas an end delimiter of "$" produces matches not ending with CR/LF characters. The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance packages: | fix pack | 4.0.0-TIV-SSM-FP0009
