IY43206: WSLCONFIG.EXE NEEDS MORE DETAIL WHEN INSTALLING. WITHOUT THE FULL PATH DETAILS OR THE WSLCONFIG BEING IN THE PATH

APAR status

  • Closed as unreproducible in next release.

Error description

  • wslconfig.exe will fail to install if the full path is not
entered or the wslconfig.exe is in the system path. Within the
manual, customers are not informed of this and so the product
fails to install

Local fix

  •  solution is to place the fill path in the installation.i.e
"C:\program files\Tivoli\bin\pdweb-lite\bin\wslconfig.exe". If
the customer changes to
cd c:\program files\Tivoli\bin\pdweb-lite\bin
and then run the program wslconfig.exe the installation fails

Problem summary

  •  This issue has been unreproducible both in L2's
 lab and L3's lab.  According to the PMR, the customer no longer
 has the environment available on which the problem was original
ly seen.  To request reopen for this APAR, please have an availa
ble reproduction environment complete with reproduction steps/se
tup/config.
