Error description
A bundle is fails with compile errors when it is compiled. However, when attempting to export said bundle to HFS the Java compiler within z/OS Explorer reports no compile errors but the .class file produced by the "Export Bundle Project to z/OS Unix file system" wizard contains compile errors. Since there are compile errors the export should fail but it does not. Explorer should be fixed so that in these cases the export fails. Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): KIXREVxxx

Problem summary
When a user creates an application (bundle) using a misconfigured environment, because of the way that Eclipse builds, the application builds correctly in the workspace even though there are compile errors. When the user exports the bundle to HFS the Java compiler within z/OS Explorer reports no compile errors but the .class file produced by the "Export Bundle Project to z/OS Unix file system" wizard does contain compile errors and so the correct dependencies are not available. Explorer did not correctly check the success of the export, which should have failed.
Problem conclusion
Explorer has been corrected so that it checks the success of the export and if there are compile errors/missing dependencies, it will fail. . This fix will be made available in Versions 5.4.0.3 and 5.3.0.16 of the CICS Explorer. .
