IV84532: APPLICATION BLOCKED BY JAVA SECURITY

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User is unable to take remote control of any machine
  The controller always show the error message:
  Application blocked by Java Security
  

Local fix

• open the Java properties from control panel and add the
  TRC Server url in the Exception list of the security tab
  This will help to circumvent the problem

  Version Affected: Versions before 9.1.2

  Problem Description
  Due to an issue with the timestamp of the controller jar file,
  Java will block the application after 2016-05-07.
  
  Problem summary:
  To resolve this issue, upgrade your server component to IBM
  BigFix Remote Control 9.1.2 or later.
