Error description

  • When performing a cust operation on a NIM mac_group, it
may fail because it attempts to mount the wrong
resources.
An error like the following will appear:

0042-001 m_cust: processing error encountered on
      "client1":
   warning: 0042-175 c_script: An unexpected result was
      returned by the "/usr/sbin/mount" command:

mount: 1831-011 access denied for
   master:/export/nim/scripts/client2.script
mount: 1831-008 giving up on:
master:/export/nim/scripts/client2.script
The file access permissions do not allow the specified
   action.
rc=175

Local fix

  • Perform the cust operation individually on each client.

  • When performing a cust operation on a NIM mac_group, it
may fail because it attempts to mount the wrong
