Error description
After rebooting a Windows OS, the portal server will crash when clients that are left running during the reboot try to reconnect. When the portal server is restarted after the crash, those same clients reconnect but no crash occurs and the portal server functions as expected. RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS: Unable to recreate.

Problem summary
Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server crashes after Windows Server reboot. The portal server is started automatically when Windows starts, but when the first portal client attempts to connect, the portal server crashes and generates a crash dump. The stack dump contains the following: KfwMain!CTRefString::CTRefString+0x30 KfwMain!CTPropertySequence::fetchPropertyBool+0x2d KfwMain!CTReport::Query::Data::modelHeader+0x336
Problem conclusion
After the portal server is restarted, it does not crash, and portal clients can connect and function normally. The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance packages: | fix pack | 6.3.0-TIV-ITM-FP0007
