Problem summary

• When socket close fails with EAGAIN, the JDK retries until the
  socket close succeeds which manifests itself either as a Hang or
  as High CPU in Java_java_net_PlainSocketImpl_socketClose0.
  

Problem conclusion

• The JDK has been updated to retry the close for a limited
  iteration and fail with an exception.
