Local fix
(1) Stop the BES Server Plugin service (2) Make sure uploadmaintenanceservice.exe is not running (3) Download a newer version of uploadmaintenanceservice.exe: http://software.bigfix.com/download/bes/util/uploadmaintenancese rvice-1.0.0.21.exe (4) Replace the old one with the new one in: <IEM Server Folder>\Applications\BESUploadMaintenanceService\uploadmaintenan ceservice.exe (might be better to just backup the old one) >(5) Delete (or make a copy elsewhere) the old logs for uploadmaintenanceservice (6) Download a utility called CryptoUtility: http://software.bigfix.com/download/bes/util/CryptoUtility-1.1.1 .exe (7) Rename the file as CryptoUtility.exe (without the 1.1.1) and place it here: <IEM Server Folder>\Applications\BESUploadMaintenanceService\CryptoUtility.e xe (8) Restart the BES Server Plugin service (9) Give us the new logs.

Problem conclusion
The fix to the original bug (comment#20) has been published to Software Distribution, site v67. The customer may need to update the upload maintenance service again. If so, they can do that with Fixlet#6 of the site.
