Error description

• Error Message: A java/lang/NullPointerException is not caught
  within a try/catch block when executing on an EC12
  Z/Architecture machine.

  Stack Trace: N/A
  .
  The exception is in a try/catch block and it is not properly
  caught when the method is JIT compiled.
  

Local fix

• This issue can be worked around using the -Xjit:disableZHelix
  option. Note however that the addition of this option will
  impact performance.
  

Problem summary

• The JIT compiler fails to properly set up the exception ranges
  for try catch blocks under certain conditions on an EC12
  machine.
  

Problem conclusion

• The JIT compiler has been updated to properly set up the
  exception ranges.
