Error description

USERS AFFECTED: In case the user application performs a list-directed input and the input contains '!' in a place where a repeat count is expected, users may see this error. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The input operation may hang while performing a list-directed input and the input contains '!' in a place where a repeat count is expected. User applications may hang at runtime while performing input operation due to this problem.
Problem conclusion
