Problem summary


    

  • The jit compiler attempts to patch an incorrect location in the
code, having performed insufficient checks to ensure the
patching operation is safe and correct.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   7    SR7       (7.0.7.0)
   6    SR15 FP1  (6.0.15.1)
.
The jit was fixed to ensure the correctness of the patching
operation before performing it.
