• As per Scott Manning an APAR is required here:
  
  Control Properties
  in Application Designer displays messages:
  The entered value right is not valid. Enter a valid integer
  value. The
  properties for this control cannot be edited or viewed. This
  happens for
  any date field for any application.
  
  This happens in Maximo 7.1.1.7 right after you apply the hotfix
  LA20111102-0826 on it.
  
  Maximo version will be:
  Base Services 7.1.1.7-LA20111102-0826 Build 20100522-0325 DB
  Build
  V7117-47 HFDB Build HF7117-30
  
  Steps to replicate:
  1. Open Maximo logged as maxadmin
  2. Go to Application Designer
  3. Search for Asset application and bring that to the screen
  4. Click on Edit Dialogs button
  5. Click on the control id "searchmore" (More Search Fields)
  6. When the "More Search Fields" screen comes up, scroll it
  down.
  7. Click on the "Installation Date" label to select it, and then
  click
  on "Control Properties"
  
  You will get an error message which says:
  
  BMXAA7094E - The entered value right is not valid. Enter a valid
  integer
  value.
  
  If you click OK, you will get another one:
  
  BMXAA6318E - The properties for this control cannot be edited or
  viewed.
  Please contact your system administrator if you have any
  questions
  
  This was replicated on Maximo 7.1.1.7 only after applying the
  hotfix
