Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused by the JIT compiler failing to register
    certain entries and exits from synchronized blocks in certain
    cases when a debugger is attached.  This problem will show up
    only on Linux on Z and zOS platforms.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    6.0.1 SR1
    7.0.0 SR1
    .
    The JVM has has been updated to prevent the crash from
    occurring.
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20110825 or later
