IT46814: MQI CALL FAILS WITH REASON 2085 DURING PUT WITH DISTRIBUTION LIST

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• MQI call fails with reason 2085 during PUT with distribution
  list when a non-native application uses offset fields in the MQ
  Object Descriptor.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The sidecar process serving a non-native application did not
  reset  the offset fields, which led to incorrect access to the
  list of object descriptors in the agent processresulting in
  error 2085(MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME).
  

Problem conclusion

• The offset fields of the MQ Object Descriptor list are now reset
  by the sidecar process before sending it in the message to the
  agent process. This corrects the access to the MQ object
  descriptors and error MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME will no longer
  occur.

  The fix is targeted for delivery in maintenance level 8.1.0.25
  of IBM MQ for HPE NonStop 8.1.
