APAR status

Error description

  • SIGSEGV in dspmqtrc, when processing a .TRC file in which trace
has been started and stopped many times.

USERS AFFECTED:
Users of dspmqtrc when trying to format an MQ trace from a Linux
or AIX platform where the trace was started and stopped many
times during collection.


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The MQ code within dspmqtrc was using an incorrect length in
some scenarios.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The MQ code within dspmqtrc has been corrected so it no longer
uses the incorrect length.
