APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • AMQP application requests were not being processed through the
IBM MQ AMQP service.

Applications were getting error status: "Host unreachable".

Manual intervention was required to start the AMQP service and
channel.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
An uninitialized pointer was being used.

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ code has been corrected to initialize the pointer
correctly.
