Error description
When a cluster of multiple peered gateways (apic-gw-service objects peered together via gateway peering) is upgraded to 10.5.0.9 or higher, apic-gw-service on DataPower restart might fail to perform the cloud upgrade step. As a result the gateway service version reflected in API Manager will remain at the version prior to upgrade, which can lead to incorrect interaction between API Manager and apic-gw-service with respect to configuration synchronization going forward.
Local fix
Execute outage-less DRR (refer to https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/a pi-connect/10.0.5.x_lts?topic=acgs-dynamically-re-registering-r econfiguring-gateway-service-in-kubernetes-deploymentfor Kuberne s/en/api-connect/10.0.5.x_lts?topic=troubleshooting-dynamically -re-registering-reconfiguring-gateway-service-in-vmware-deploym entfor Physical or Virtual DataPower deployments).
Problem summary
A Gateway cluster fails to do cloud upgrade.
Problem conclusion
Fix is available in 10.0.1.19 and 10.5.0.11.
