IT45845: CANCELING A BACKUP RETAINS BACKUP DATA REGARDLESS OF SELECTION

Error description

• In IBM Spectrum Protect Plus, canceling a backup job retains
  data backed up to a vSnap, even if a customer selects the "No"
  option in the "Keep the data that was previously backed up?"
  prompt. The expected behavior is that the data associated with
  the backup job is removed when a user selects "No."

Problem conclusion

• In IBM Spectrum Protect Plus, data from the backup job canceled
  with 'No' option for 'Keep the data that was previously backed
  up' was retained till the end of the retention period. In IBM
  Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.16.2 and 10.1.17, if the 'No' option
  is selected while canceling the job, data associated with this
  job will be removed in the next maintenance job.
