Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users starting or deleting distributed MQ channels after
    migrating to MQ 9.3.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Channel failed to start post migration from MQ 9.2 or lower MQ
version. This happens when multiple scratchpads holding the
same syncdata for a channel. During the migration, MQ 9.3 code
detected the inconsistency and caused failure in channel
    operations.

Problem conclusion

  • MQ code has been modified to retain last used scratchpad and
delete the unused scratchpad to resolve the problem.
