IT45646: USE DIFFERENT NAMESPACE TO LOAD DIFFERENT VERSION OF SAME ROOT SAP SCHEMA

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IDOC Stream parsing using SAP Schema Model fails if two or more
  applications are having different version of SAP schema for same
  root eleement i.e one of the Element included by Root Element is
  having or missing an element. This results in missing cursor
  error for application whose schema model does not have the new
  element.
  

Local fix

• deploy applications to different integration server or change
  the name of parent element which contains different elements.
  ACE uses parent element name to store element cursors.

  All Users of App Connect Enterprise using standalone IDOC
  parsing with the MQ Node.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  If multiple applications are deployed which use the same IDOC
  root element name but in different namespaces then both
  applications will use one of the definitions. This leads to
  parsing errors in one of the applications. This is because the
  namespace is not taken into account when loading the IDOC
  definition.
  

Problem conclusion

• The namespace is now used when looking up the IDOC definition so
  this problem no longer occurs.
