Error description

• TMF may hang when queue file is full.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The maxextents value of a queue's enscribe file is automatically
  increased if necessary. However should the maxextents size of a
  queue's enscribe file be exhausted the system can run into file
  full situations during roll back activities.
  For example: MQGET under transaction gets rolled back while
  the file has been filled up by other operations causing the
  to be rolled back data to not fit into the file anymore putting
  it into a hung transaction status.
  

Problem conclusion

• The product has been changed to cap the automatic maxextents
  increase at a value of 400 by default.
  The mechanism can be disabled by setting environment variable
  AMQ_AUTOINCR_MAXEXT to "OFF".
  The maximum amount of maxextents can be set by using environment
  variable AMQ_LIMIT_AUTOINCR_MAXEXT, the hard limit however is
  a value of 800.
  This leaves enough leeway to mnanually increase the maxextents
  value of the affected files to get the transaction going again
  in most cases.

  The fix is targeted for delivery in maintenance level 8.1.0.20
  of IBM MQ for HPE NonStop 8.1.
