Problem conclusion
Before IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.16.1 and 10.1.17, a single vSnap preference was used to determine whether to an unforced export the ZFS pool when cleaning up both an offload and a restore. In IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.16.1 and 10.1.17, a new preference has been introduced for the restore (with a default value of enabled), enabling restore cleanups to perform an unforced export by default.
