Error description

  • The ODBC driver supplied with App Connect Enterprise On Windows
    intermittently aborts when connecting to or disconnecting from
    an Oracle database.

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of App Connect Enterprise V11 or V12 or IBM
    Integration Bus V10.1 on the Windows platform who access an
    Oracle database via ODBC.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    Windows on x86-64 platform
    
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When connecting to or disconnecting from an Oracle database via
    ODBC on Windows an intermittent ABORT may occur.
    

Problem conclusion

  • An updated Oracle ODBC driver for Windows has been supplied for
    App Connect Enterprise V11 and V12 and IBM Integration Bus V10.1
    to resolve this issue.
