Error description

• While creating SAP Outbound Adapter using ACE 12.0.11 toolkit,
  Discovery interface pops up error
  'org/apache/xerces/util/XMLChar'. Detail of stack is

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">All users of
  IBM App Connect Enterprise v12.0.11.0 using  App Connect
  Enterprise Toolkit to create SAP adapters.</span>

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When trying to create SAP outbound resource adapter using App
  Connect 12.0.11.0 toolkit, the Find and Discover Services will
  show a pop up with error :
  'com.ibm.adapter.framework.BaseException:
  org/apache/xerces/util/XMLChar'.
  
  The .log file in toolkit workspace will show
  NoClassDefFoundError,
  
  "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/xerces/util/XMLChar
  at
  com.ibm.j2ca.extension.emd.EMDUtil.cleanStringWithUnicode(EMDUti
  l.java:2100)"
  

Problem conclusion

• Toolkit no longer throws exception while creating SAP outbound
  adapters.
