IT45425: REDEPLOYING POLICY PROJECT NOT CONTAINING MAVEN POM.XML FILE THROWS ERROR

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In ACE12, deploying a Policy Project containing a Maven pom.xml
  file into a Node managed Integration Server works fine. However,
  if the same Policy Project is redeployed after removing the
  Maven pom.xml file, the deployment is rejected with an Internal
  Error.
  Example - ibmint deploy --input-bar-file test.bar --output-node
  Broker1 --output-server EG1 --restart-all-application
  
  BIP9325E: The source 'C:\Users\Joe\Desktop\test.bar' could not
  be deployed as it contains errors. No changes have been made to
  the integration server.
  BIP2113E: IBM App Connect Enterprise internal error: diagnostic
  information 'ImbBaseHelper has been passed a ImbConfigObject
  with an invalid type: expected/actual ', 'Policy', 'Resource'.
  An internal software error has occurred in IBM App Connect
  Enterprise
  BIP8081E: An error occurred while processing the command.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  In App Connect Enterprise v12, deploying a Policy Project
  containing a Maven pom.xml file into a Node managed Integration
  Server works fine. However, if the same Policy Project is
  redeployed after removing the Maven pom.xml file, the deployment
  is rejected with an Internal Error.

Problem conclusion

• The Product has been modified to correctly classify the Maven
  pom.xml file type and not throw an error on redeployment when
  the file is removed
