APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When using Kafka Handler,  the rate for pulling very small
messages from a topic is about 1 per second. But after they
disable/enable Kafka handler, the slow pulling issue is gone and
the handler can pull thousands of messages in few seconds

  • Fix is available in 10.0.1.18, 10.5.0.10 and 10.5.4.0.
