Error description

• IBM Storage Protect for Virtual Environments: Data Protection
  for VMware version 8.1.19.0 and later on RHEL 7.x displays the
  following errors during VM backup operations:
  
  ANS4917E A failure occurred while accessing the VMware
  libraries. The required files for the virtual machine backup
  were not found. The files are installed only if the client is
  defined as a data mover in IBM Spectrum Protect for Virtual
  Environments.

Problem conclusion

• The problem is fixed for RHEL 7.9 so that the Data Protection
  for VMware operations work correctly.
  

Temporary fix

• An e-fix is available upon request for Data Protection for
  VMware versions 8.1.19 and 8.1.20 running on RHEL 7.7 and 7.9.
