APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the user suspends the appliance using "sethagrp -s" command
the queue manager is expected to end in a reasonable time.
However the QM was not ending for 5 minutes and this caused
failed actions in HA resources and subsequently prevented the QM
from starting. The same problem might also occur if the QM is
stopped using endmqm.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A defect in checking the processes associated with the running
queue manager caused the delay in queue manager shutdown

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • MQ code has been modified to resolve the delay in queue manager
shutdown
