Error description

  • IBM Storage Protect Backup-Archive web user interface shows
Total bytes transferred only in integer number.
This means web user interface rounds 3.xx TB to 4TB or 1.xx GB
    to 2 GB.

For example, web user interface shows following backup
statistics where 'Total bytes transferred' shows 2GB.

    Back up 2 object(s)
    SP_CLIENT_8.1.12_LIN86_ML.tar.bkp
    SP_CLIENT_8.1.12_LIN86_ML.tar.bkp1
    Backup type: Selective
    Start: 09/01/2023 9:06 AM
    End: 09/01/2023 9:06 AM
    Total objects inspected: 2
    Total objects backed up: 2
    Total objects failed: 0
    Total objects excluded: 0
    Total bytes transferred: 2 GB

IBM Storage Protect server side 'Total number of byte
transferred' shows 1.52GB so that shows more precise number of
    byte transferred.
