APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • While running the ibmint command, if the ibmint.trace.* files
    doesnt exists in the common/log folder, the command runs
    successfully. However, if we switch to a different user and run
    the ibmint command again, it will results in permission error(s)
    as shown below:
    
    [aceuser@rktemp1 ~]$ ibmint
    Failed to open file /var/mqsi/common/log/ibmint.trace.0.txt with
    error Permission denied
    BIP2112E: IBM App Connect Enterprise internal error: diagnostic
    information Permission denied, 13.
    BIP2112E: IBM App Connect Enterprise internal error: diagnostic
    information Permission denied, 13.
    
    Note:Both users are part of mqbrkrs group.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    While running the ibmint command, if the ibmint.trace.* files
    does not exists in the common/log folder, the command runs
    successfully. However, if you switch to a different user and run
    the ibmint command again, it results in permission error(s) as
    shown below:
