IT44362: PROBLEMS USING IBM EHLLAPI BRIDGE WITH MICROFOCUS UFT APPLICATIONS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When downloading EHLLAPI the versions listed in the binaries are
  not the versions that are actually being installed. The only
  exception to this is EHLLAPI 14.0.3 64-bit.
  
  However, this EHLLAPI version / build is not compatible with
  the MicroFocus UFT product that Customer use.

  A defect in the IBM EHLLAPI Bridge code as part of an internal
  enhancement was found to be causing the issue where UFT
  generated macros contained "Window" field instead of "TeWindow"
  or "TeField". All IBM EHLLAPI Bridge v12.0.3 levels and above
  are affected.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code changes have been made in SyncHLLAPI.DLL module of the IBM
  EHLLAPI Bridge to address this problem.
