Error description

  • The functionality introduced in APAR IT32648
(https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/apar/IT32648), which allows
users to override REST API application's base URL with custom
URL, is not fully working.  Users can hit a BIP6311E error
message, which says an operation is not supported.

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V12.0, V11.0 and IBM
Integration Bus V10.1 using the REST API base URL overriding
functionality.


Platforms affected:
z/OS, MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When using the the REST API base URL overriding functionality,
users receive a BIP6311E error
message, saying their operations are not supported.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The product no longer generates an operation not supported error
message due to the REST API base URL overriding and the intended
overriding works successfully.
