APAR status

Error description

  • After upgrade to 10.1.15.0, you can get this issue using IBM
    Storage Protect Plus GUI:
       If you create a new SLA, you can save it.
       If you later EDIT this SLA, if no REPLICA has been selected,
    you can save it.
       If REPLICA has been selected, you CANNOT save the SLA.

Problem conclusion

  • Prior to IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.15.1 and 10.1.16, the
    IBM Spectrum Protect Plus Edit SLA User Interface (UI) page
    would incorrectly hide the Save button, even if the primary and
    secondary sites for a replication were different. Since IBM
    Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.15.1 and 10.1.16, an error is
    properly displayed when the primary and secondary sites for a
    replication are the same and the Save button is only hidden when
    the primary and secondary sites for a replication are the same
    (since the SLA cannot be saved).
