IT44271: HOD 14.0.5 - UNABLE TO USE CLIENT AUTHENTICATION KEY USAGE ATTRIBUTE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• On using client authentication for 3270 sessions HOD will not
  select a certificate if  selecting Client Authentication in the
  key usage dialog under Enhanced key Usage.
  
  There should be the ability to specify the client
  authentication attribute in the HOD configuration to make the
  selection of the certificate very specific.

  When the Host On-Demand session uses Client Authentication along
  with enable key usage (key usage-Digital signature and extended
  key usage as client authentication and smart card) and chooses
  certificate source as browser key store, the certificate name
  drop down is not listing the certificates corresponding to key
  usage and extended key usage options enabled.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code changes have been made to address the issue.
