Error description

  • MQ appliance M2003 model Raid battery warning temperature is
incorrectly set to 40 degrees C instead of 50 degrees C and the
following message message is generated when RAID battery
temperature reaches 40 degrees C.

20230622T224151.653Z [0x804000d9][system][critic] : tid(223):
The RAID battery temperature is too high (41 degree C).

APAR IT42420 fixes similar issue for the M2002 model.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The IBM MQ Appliance's RAID battery temperature warning
temperature was incorrectly set to 40 degrees C instead of 50
degrees C.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • MQ Appliance configuration has been modified to set the warning
temperature to 50 degrees C.
